The Eastmain Community Services Department plays a vital role in supporting our members' and residents' daily needs. The department includes Airport Maintenance, the Post Office, Band Membership, Benefits and Finance, Niskamoon, economic development, and other special projects.

The airport maintenance department ensures that our facilities are well-kept by maintaining the runway and its amenities, which connects Eastmain to neighboring communities and beyond. The post office offers essential mail and parcel services, keeping residents connected with family, friends, and opportunities across the region. Additionally, our band membership services uphold the rights and identity of our members, supporting cultural continuity and individual recognition. The Benefits and Finance department provides support for members in filing their tax claims. Niskamoon assists land users and tallymen with special projects aimed at preserving our traditions and culture. Lastly, our Economic Development team supports local entrepreneurs in achieving their goals and starting their businesses.
